Celebrating Women Creating on the Web: Submit Your Project for Our Women’s History Month Showcase!
We’re still looking for submissions for our Reclaim Hosting Women’s Showcase!
Want to submit your project, but have some questions about what can be submitted and how your project will be showcased? We have the answers to some questions you may have below.
Who can submit a project? Can I nominate someone to be featured?
Anyone is welcome to submit a project as long as a female-identifying person played a leading role in creating or developing it! Think of this as a free advertising opportunity to showcase you or your community’s hard work.
We also welcome nominations - if you have someone in your life you’d like to shout out who’s doing awesome work, nominate them to be featured! For example, professors or instructors may nominate students whose work stood out this year, or community members can highlight projects created by colleagues or collaborators. Of course, if a nominee is chosen to be featured, we’ll reach out to the creator to confirm their permission before featuring it.
What types of projects can be submitted?
There is no limit to the types of projects that can be submitted! This showcase is intended to showcase the amazing, diverse work that women in our community are building – whether that be a personal blog, a business website, a course project, or an educational or research project. Projects do not need to be fully completed and works in progress are absolutely welcome.
We want to show all of the incredible things you can build on all of Reclaim’s services. If you built it with us, we want to show it off!
Do I have to be attributed? Can I remain anonymous?
If you’d rather not be attributed directly, no problem. We can feature the project using only its title without including your name or other identifying details.
Can I submit more than one project?
Of course! The more the merrier!
When will the showcase be published?
The submission form will close at the end of March. After submissions are reviewed and selected participants have been contacted, the showcase will be published in a blog post shortly thereafter!
