Security PSA: Disk Usage Phishing Campaign

PSA: There is currently an ongoing phishing campaign against Reclaim Hosting/Reclaim Hosting users. These phishing emails are disguised as legitimate cPanel disk usage reports, an example of which can be seen below:

As you can probably tell from the image, there are a few signs that this email is not legitimate. I will go over those below:

• The message asks you to click a link to 'extend your disk capacity for free'
• The message creates a sense of urgency around loss of data
• The message has the wrong dates/times
• And finally, though not seen in the image, the email this message was sent from was spoofed to look like a legitimate cPanel email, though the real email could be viewed via email headers

This is a reminder to not click any links you do not know in an email, and always verify that an email came from the correct sender. If you receive one of these alerts, please do not click any links in the email and let us know at support@reclaimhosting.com.
