The Blogging Renaissance is alive and kicking on Reclaim TV

Change in Higher Education sometimes seems akin to that of natural evolution, which Elizabeth Kolbert summarises as “long periods of boredom interrupted occasionally by panic.” With demands for improved efficiency, viable business cases, funding crises, and the addition of AI into all aspects of work and leisure, it feels at times as if Higher Education is not occasionally but permanently in a period of unprecedented change and challenge.

So where do we turn to create space for educators (and students, too) in times of perma-crisis? Space to… think through ideas, develop your voice, have fun, experiment, undertake activity that does not relate to a specific project, develop writing skills, connect with others just for the sake of conversation and explore possibilities that may come to nothing?

On Reclaim TV at least, we have been finding just that kind of space and inspiration as we enter a Blogging Renaissance celebrating voices on the open web. Jim has chronicled his conversations with a stellar line up of guests over on bavatuesdays, and we have included a quick recap below to help you catch up on all the best moments.

Don't miss on the next episode on April 25th, as Jim talks with Amy Collier and Tom Woodward about the role writing has played in their careers as well as the development of the brilliant Demystifying AI series .
