2026 Price Updates
As part of our ongoing commitment to providing reliable, secure, and high-quality hosting services, we are implementing pricing updates for our Domain of One’s Own and Managed Hosting plans effective January 1, 2026. We understand that any price change affects your budget, and we wanted to publish upcoming changes to allow you to plan ahead for increases you will see in 2026.
Updated Pricing
Domain of One’s Own plans will now start at $8,400 per year, and Managed Hosting plans for dedicated servers start at $7,700 annually. Shared Hosting prices will start at $36 for Student/Personal plans and the corresponding shared hosting prices will increase from $.50 to $1 per month. New pricing goes into effect as of January 1, 2026, though some of you are already seeing updated prices reflected in your renewal invoices for next year.
Why Are Prices Increasing?
For more than 10 years, Reclaim has worked to provide reliable hosting services paired with the best and most responsive support in the industry. From our roots in higher education, we understand and are here to support our customers' needs for flexibility, security and reliability - while also providing immense value via our cost-effective solutions for students, individuals, organizations, faculty, staff and institutions.
As our small company has grown, we have worked tirelessly to meet the growing needs of our global customers while also working to meet the increasing demands for security, accessibility, privacy, availability, performance and numerous other expectations placed on the vendor community for higher education. We have done this all while remaining dedicated to keeping our value incredibly high - with few pricing increases over the past decade. However, during this time, the economy around us has changed and we have absorbed significant increased costs from our suppliers and partners.
To continue delivering the level of performance, security, and support our clients expect, we will be adjusting pricing on no less than an annual basis moving forward. We remain committed to keeping price increases as minimal as possible while continuing to improve the quality of our hosting environment.

Our Approach to Pricing
Reclaim understands that most of our customers are affiliated with higher education and need unconventional solutions that you can afford to evaluate, experiment with and grow within your institutions. Meeting these needs can be difficult and are often handled outside of your internal IT departments. That’s much of the reason we exist: to provide outstanding support and hosting for open-source and alternative technology options that aren’t met by your internal IT departments, and doing this at a reasonable cost.
The services Reclaim Hosting offers are already incredibly affordable, and the types of increases we are building into future pricing are minimal when compared to the inflation we’ve experienced over the past decade. The combination of hosting, monitoring, support, security, accessibility, consultation and reliability that we provide our customers (at all levels) are some of the least expensive offerings you will find from any managed service provider. We have product offerings priced under $40 per year for individuals, while larger bundled offerings like our all-in-one Domain of One's Own service offers incredible value at only a few hundred dollars per month.
Are There Discounts or Special Pricing Available?
Reclaim currently offers multi-year (3-year) contracts for managed hosting capped at 5% annual increases. This allows predictable pricing for a 3-year term and is our commitment to absorb inflationary costs beyond this amount during the life of that contract. For customers spending less than $20,000 annually, we require full payment in advance in order to make this commitment.
