Coming Soon: Faces of Reclaim
Over the past year, we've loved getting to celebrate our users here at Reclaim. From our first inaugural Student Showcase (and a second coming around the corner soon) to our recent Women's Showcase, it has been an absolute joy to show off projects our community has been working hard on.
Our mission has always been to offer the most accessible way to publish on the open web, so that our customers, our people, can share what's most important to them - whether that be an Omeka collection full of carefully curated online exhibits, a WordPress personal portfolio, a Scalar library stacked with published research, or a really deep love and appreciation for the band Phish.
While many may choose large, faceless hosting companies to create their websites, we pride ourselves on being something different: a hosting company built around relationships. Every website on our platform represents a person, a story, an idea, or a community, and we genuinely care about the work happening there. When a site goes down, when someone is trying to troubleshoot a tricky plugin, or when a creator is looking for the right tool to bring their idea to life, our team is here as real humans who understand that these aren't just files sitting on a server. They're projects that matter.
Many of our customers know our team by name, and we know many of you by the incredible things you create. That connection is at the heart of everything we do. We aren't just here to provide hosting. We're here to support the people building on it.
Over time, we realized we wanted a dedicated space to share those stories. A place to celebrate the people behind the projects, highlight the creativity happening across our community, and give others the opportunity to learn from the experiences of fellow Reclaimers.
Faces of Reclaim is a podcast series that dives into the stories behind the websites, digital projects, and online spaces built on Reclaim. Each episode features a different member of our community and explores what they created, why they created it, the tools and technologies they used along the way, and what they learned through the process.
These conversations are meant to feel less like a formal interview and more like a conversation with a fellow open web builder. They are a chance to talk about the ideas, challenges, discoveries, and moments of inspiration that shape projects on the open web. These conversations take a deep dive into topics such as open edtech advocacy to building digital capabilities, sharing research and pushing the limits of innovation.
Through Faces of Reclaim, we hope to not only showcase the incredible work happening across our platform, but also inspire others to start creating, experimenting, and building their own spaces on the web.
Faces of Reclaim will launch September 29th, 2026 as a part of our new and improved Reclaim Podcast Network, and we can't for you to hear our first stories.
