A Holiday Reclaim Recap
Continuing with our 12 Days of Blogging theme, I have written a 2025 Reclaim Recap in holiday-inspired verse. It may not cover all of the things my wonderful colleagues here at Reclaim Hosting have accomplished this year, but it definitely hits on a few of the highlights.
Thanks to the wonderful Reclaim community for a wonderful year in 2025, and we look forward to even more exciting projects in the upcoming year!
And now, for your enjoyment, A Holiday Reclaim Recap:
Tis two weeks before Christmas and all through Reclaim, we are working on projects that are cool and not lame.
Just as we have all through the year, planning wonderous new things for the sites we hold dear.
This year went by fast as they all seem to do, as we made upgrades and changes for users like you.
Now, security is important, that we all know. And ours got much better with certifications to show.
Yes, cheer for our team and on our backs pat us, for we have achieved full TX-RAMP status!
Performance is another important matter, and if it is bad, Support will hear a great chatter.
And so that mumbles and grumbles should not come to pass, new servers were spun up all shiny and fast.
Sites were migrated and performance scores soared, like a magical sleigh with Saint Nicholas aboard.
Our billing got better because so many asked, “can we have auto-payments?” And so it was tasked.
And our Infra team smiled and happily said yes, and added that feature to an updated WHMCS.
(That is a system, for those who don’t know, that we use for billing and to make many things “go.”)
So billing is seamless and users are happy, which means support ratings are good and not crappy!
Support is something we hold very dear and that we strive to improve year after year.
So documentation updates are done, though they take a long time and are never that fun.
But our team keeps on going and plugging away because things always change day after day.
And by our great users, with whom we are smitten, many reviews were so carefully written.
They’re overwhelmingly good, and that lifts our spirits. We’re so glad that you’re happy and we love to hear it!
We’ve highlighted cool things done by our buddies in blog posts and higher education case studies.
The most recent of which gave us a glimpse in to a server migration completed by Princeton.
Twas a good and successful migration, and the study shares steps for its replication.
Due diligence was key to managing risks on their sites, and to avoid any issues that give users frights.
And there should be no great surprise, clear communication was at the heart of their enterprise.
Now with sites secure and accessible, their joy is abundant and quite insuppressible.
And finally, one more thing that’s worth noting, a wonderful conference we call Reclaim Open.
It was so much fun, it was really the best. Thank you to all who made it a success.
To the insightful presenters and attendees galore, to the students we showcased and everyone adored.
Thanks to you all, it was truly a pleasure to host an event that by any measure…
was freaking awesome, that’s one way to say it! And you can go to reclaim.tv if you want replay it!
And so concludes my year in review, that was written in holiday verses for you.
I hope it brought you joy and good cheer as I recapped what happened at Reclaim this year.
The new year will bring more changes for sure, and we are excited for what is in store.
But for now we will pause and simply say, from us here at Reclaim, Happy Holidays!
