If you are working with students in a Domain of One’s Own, Shared Hosting or a Wordpress Multisite, we want to hear from you! We are running a student competition to showcase emerging voices from across our community of institutions. Selected by a judging panel of expert admins we will shine a spotlight on wonderful work that is happening at our flagship conference, Reclaim Open. Nominations are open to all our customers, so help us celebrate the voices which will shape the web for the next generation.

Quick Fix: Tips For Getting Your Customer Support Ticket Solved Fast

Jason wrote this post to share some tips on how to submit a support ticket that will get you the quickest possible solution to any issue, and shows two examples of best practice. Read the post.

Shared Hosting clients can now easily manage automatic billing

Since we introduced automatic billing for all Shared Hosting accounts earlier this year, you can now easily review your account and ensure your billing preferences are set the way you’d like them.

  • You don't need to take any action to continue your Shared Hosting service as your account will renew automatically (review or edit your payment method in your Client Area at any time).
  • Alternatively, cancel your Shared Hosting account at any time before your renewal date to avoid additional charges.

Register now for fall admin workshops

Admin Workshop: Domain of One’s Own (October 14 @ 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm EST). The workshop provides both applied training and concrete examples of  administering and teaching with Domain of One’s Own, along with individual help, peer support and time for questions.

Admin Workshop: WordPress Multisite (WPMS) (November 18 @ 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm EST). This workshop will help you learn about administering WPMS, explore themes and plug-ins, find out how to build a WPMS that supports your goals and also learn more about troubleshooting and how to fix common issues.

Our theme is Rewilding the Network – Making New Connections and this year's conference invites you to share how you find and amplify your voices on the open web, the technology that makes it possible to stay connected and what brings us together across fragmented social networks.

Don't miss out on "early bird" conference tickets! If you register to attend by September 15, 2025, your ticket will be $99. From September 16, conference tickets will be $149.
