Mukurtu 4 on Shared (VIP) Hosting

This update is relates to Mukurtu 3 sites currently hosted on Reclaim's Shared Hosting or VIP Shared Hosting Services.

Since Mukurtu 4 has been announced we have been working closely with the Mukurtu team to plan for this transition and to support customers who wish to move from Mukurtu 3 to 4. We are happy to confirm that we will be able to offer hosting for Mukurtu 4 sites for Managed Hosting. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer Mukurtu 4 through our Shared Hosting or VIP Shared Hosting Services.

What happens to my Mukurtu 3 site?

We will continue to host current Mukurtu 3 sites through the end of 2027 on both Shared Hosting and VIP Shared Hosting. At that time, the version of PHP in use by Mukurtu 3 will no longer receive security updates and can’t be safely supported.

We will be working with you and Mukurtu to ensure your sites are safely backed up, exported, and moved sites as necessary and we encourage you to take action now, and not to wait until the end of 2027.

Alternatives to Shared or VIP Shared Hosting:

We will will host Mukurtu 4 sites on our Managed Hosting services, so get in touch if you'd like to learn more about how we can help. Contact us for help & support via our support portal.

If our Managed Hosting service isn't a good fit, why not move your site to the team at Mukurtu? Mukurtu Hosting offers you hosting provider that is familiar with the inner workings of Mukurtu CMS https://mukurtuhosting.org/ .
