Plan ahead for Domain pricing changes

As an independent hosting company we work very hard to keep our pricing stable and predictable so that our users, especially students and teachers, can plan ahead easily. For example, our domain registration prices have remained unchanged for the past eleven years!

Our last audit of what's happening in the industry has revealed continued increases in the costs that we incur for providing the service, and these costs continue to grow. We have thus raised the Base Domain Price (i.e. Pricing for a .com, .net and .org domain) to $19/year.

When will the new price become effective?

For new customers the new price, $19/year, will become effective from July 1, and renewing customers will see the changes reflected in their renewal from September 1.

Which domain registrations does this apply to?

The price applies to all domain registrations via Reclaim Hosting, such as a .com, .net and .org domain.

What about pre-purchased promo codes?

If you use our Bulk Shared Hosting service and have pre-purchased promo codes prior to July 1, these will continue to be valid without a change. If you are looking to buy more, then budget at the new price for the next academic year.
