ReclaimEDU for Enterprise

Sketch of ReclaimEDU Multi-Region WordPress Hosting

When we launched ReclaimEDU last year we were looking to work with Higher Education partners looking to take their open-source software solution from experiment to enterprise service. We recognised that projects that had outgrown their Domain of One's Own or a proof of concept on Reclaim Cloud that had become widely used by students and faculty came with different hosting needs. ReclaimEDU was our approach to helping institutions offer innovative digital solutions that form part of their enterprise service.

Although there're technical commonalities when it comes to scaling up services, we understand that each one comes with custom requirements and parameters, as unique as the students and faculty it serves. That's why our team spends time to really understand the context, and offer a fresh perspective on how things are working, any pain points, and how to boost site performance.

Here's a quick explainer of our Multi-Region WordPress Hosting

Key benefits: Load Balancing, DNS Failover, WAF & DDos Protection

WordPress Multi-Region hosting allows for identical copies of a WordPress application to live on different servers across multiple geographical locations, all while staying in sync. We’ll replicate your .edu sites across different server regions, allowing for dynamic traffic routing, faster loading times, and DNS failover protection. On top of that, we’ve built in an extra layer of uptime redundancy by keeping a static site on hand for increased waves of traffic or planned maintenance. Finally, with an identical development environment in tow, 24/7 monitoring, and lighting-fast support, you can rest assured knowing we’ve got you covered.

A high-performing infrastructure setup only works if you also have a high-performing team to support you behind the scenes. Working with colleges and universities is what we do, and our top priority is ensuring that your needs around issues of security, accessibility, and third-party data sharing are covered.
