"Vade Nobiscum" with Laura Gibbs and Sam Hooper
It’s the launch special of our new podcast, Faces of Reclaim! Tune in to hear from two very special guests, Sam Hooper and Laura Gibbs, and their project Vade Nobiscum, their open online library of Latin texts, audio, and learning resources.
This is not only your chance to hear about the a project that could take you on a Latin reading and listening and learning adventure, but also learn about the team using open source technologies used to make it happen.
To celebrate the launch of the podcast, this episode was recorded LIVE at the DS106 Radio Summer Camp.

Level up your skills with our fall webinar series
As the new academic year gets underway, we are excited to kick off a new series of training session for students, educators and admins using our services. Led by our expert team these sessions focus on fresh ideas for making the most of tools and platforms on the open web and each time we share practical tips and tools for you to try in your own practice.
Topics for fall sessions: In the first session we will explore how to support digital agency and long-term skills development with bulk-shared hosting. Other topics coming up this term include: open source tools for building static sites and using open source platforms for co-creating digital content with students .
Major Upgrades to Domain of One's Own roll-out continues
We’re continuing to roll out the new upgraded version of Domain of One’s Own. The upgrades will offer admins centralized and simplified administration, easier updates, increased security and more freedom in how your instance is themed. Head over to our knowledge base to take a look at the updated documentation and look out for our communications to admins with more details and timelines closer to the time.
PHP Upgrades
Here is a quick reminder of upcoming changes, which will affect Shared Hosting customers: 10/13: PHP 8.1 is removed. For more info, check out our full service update.
