Major Upgrades to Domain of One's Own

We’re rolling out a new upgraded version of Domain of One’s Own this summer, and we have dedicated sessions for admins to find out what's in store. The upgrades will offer admins centralized and simplified administration, easier updates, increased security and more freedom in how your instance is themed.

Head over to our knowledge base to take a look at the updated documentation and look out for our communications to admins with more details and timelines closer to the time. Keen to learn more? Register now for our next Admin Workshop:

Plan ahead for Domain pricing changes

As an education-focused hosting provider, our pricing philosophy is simple: keep costs as low as possible without compromising quality and keep things transparent for all our customers. In response to continued increases in our costs for offering domain registrations, we're thus increasing the Base Domain Price (i.e. Pricing for a .com, .net and .org domain for the first year of registration) to $19/year. For new customers the new price will become effective from July 1, and renewing customers will see the changes reflected in their renewal from September 1.

We believe choosing a hosting provider shouldn’t require guesswork or hidden tradeoffs. That’s why we’ve put together a comparison to give you a transparent overview at how we stack up on both price and value and help you plan ahead for the next academic year.
